The Ri3020QE29 is a rechargeable smart lithium-ion battery pack delivering 10.8V and 8.4Ah typical from nine 18650 cells in a 3S3P configuration, weighing just 284 grams. It is the safety-certified variant of the Ri3020HD29 — tested to IEC 62133-2 with CB Report, UL 62133-2, and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 62133-2 — reducing the certification burden for OEMs entering North American, European, and international markets. Impedance Track fuel gauging holds state-of-charge accuracy better than 1% error over the life of the pack, reporting capacity, run time, cycle count, and alarm status to the host over SMBus. The pack requests its own charge parameters from any SMBus Level II or Level III smart charger, and four on-pack LEDs show state of charge without powering up the host device. Redundant protection covers over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, short circuit, and cell imbalance, with auto-resettable primary circuits backed by non-resettable logic and 15A slow-blow fuses. Discharge operation spans -20°C to +55°C, and the pack is UN 38.3 transportation tested with CE, UKCA, and FCC Part 15 Class B marking.
